Warminster is an Ancient Market Town situated on the southern edge of the Salisbury Plain, approximately 18 miles from Bath and Salisbury. The Town Council in its present format originates from the Local Government Review of the early 1970’s, prior to this it was the Warminster Urban District Council. The Council comprises of 12 Members elected on a four yearly basis. The Town has two Wards, each of which is represented by Six Councillors.
