Warminster is an Ancient Market Town situated on the southern edge of the Salisbury Plain, approximately 18 miles from Bath and 21 miles from Salisbury. The Town Council in its present format originates from the Local Government Review of the early 1970’s, prior to this it was the Warminster Urban District Council. The Council comprises of 12 Members elected on a four yearly basis. The Town has two Wards, each of which is represented by Six Councillors. Freedom of Information - if you would like a copy of all information that is published and avaialble under this Act, please call or write to us at Dewey House where a menu can be sent to you. If you wish to download information from this website, please access Committees from the left hand menu, go into Full Council and on the right hand side under "Whats Related" you will see a list of documents to download. All agendas and related minutes are available to the public and can be provided in a paper format if you cannot download them.
